Centrifugal spray drying equipment is one of the dryers widely used in industrial production at present. On the surface of the dispersion plate, the liquid diffuses in the form of a film, and is thrown out at a high speed around the circumference. The atomization effect depends on the circumferential linear speed and feeding rate, as well as some physical properties of the feed liquid and other factors. By adding liquid to the high-speed rotating dispersion plate, the liquid is shaken into droplets under centrifugal force and dried in a dryer.
Working principle
The material liquid processed by the previous process enters the nozzle at the top of the pumping drying chamber. The air pressure evenly atomizes the material liquid into a group of micrometer droplets and enters the drying chamber. Atmospheric air enters the heating system and is heated to the required temperature for the process. It enters the drying chamber evenly through a hot air duct, solidifies at high temperature after contact with the droplet group, and decomposes into products. The dried finished product, along with the air, undergoes gas-solid separation through a cyclone separator. The fine powder of the finished product is recovered, and the tail gas containing trace amounts of powder is purified by a bag filter. The tail gas that meets environmental requirements is discharged by an induced draft fan.
System Description
1. Heating: Composed of an electric heater and ceramic electric heating wire, it completes the high-temperature air required for the atmospheric air heating process.
2. Feed: The liquid material is pumped by a peristaltic pump to the top nozzle.
3. Spray: the liquid material is atomized into micron sized droplets by the nozzle and enters the drying tower body.
4. Drying: The sample is instantly dried by combining heated hot air with micronized droplets atomized by the nozzle.
5. Product discharge and dust removal: cyclone separator, bottom collection bottle.
The characteristics of centrifugal spray drying equipment are basically determined by the characteristics of atomizer
1. Centrifugal spray drying does not require strict filtering equipment, and if there is no fibrous liquid in the feed liquid, the feed liquid channel will not be blocked basically;
2. It can adapt to high viscosity liquid (compared with pressure spray drying);
3. Because the speed of the atomizer is easy to adjust, it is easier to empty the product particle size and narrow the particle size distribution;
4. When adjusting the processing capacity, there is no need to change the working state of the atomizer, and the same product can be obtained with a change in feed rate of ± 25%;
5. Due to the fact that the mist generated by the centrifugal atomizer is basically on the same horizontal plane, and the droplets move along the radial and tangential composite directions, with almost no initial axial velocity, the diameter of the dryer is relatively large. The diameter and length are relatively small, which can make reasonable use of the space in the drying room.
