The laboratory boiling dryer adopts fluidized bed drying technology and involves two mutual processes of heat and mass transfer. In the process of convective drying, hot air transfers heat energy to the surface of the material through contact with wet materials, and then from the surface to the interior of the material, which is a heat transfer process; After the wet material is heated, the surface moisture first vaporizes, while the internal moisture diffuses to the surface of the material in a liquid or gaseous state and continuously vaporizes into the air, gradually reducing the moisture content of the material and completing drying. This is a mass transfer process.
Boiling drying, also known as fluidized bed drying, uses hot air flow to suspend wet particles. Fluidized boiling allows for heat exchange of materials, and evaporated water or organic solvents are carried away by hot air. It uses hot air flow to carry out mass and heat transfer through gas-solid two-phase suspension contact, achieving the purpose of wet particle drying.
The laboratory boiling dryer needs to undergo the following checks before use:
1. The bearing and gear life of a boiling dryer is generally 2-3 years. The lubrication of the cycloidal reducer should be regularly checked for oil level, and the new equipment should be replaced with oil after 50 hours of full operation. According to the cleaning procedure of the boiling dryer, improve equipment hygiene.
2. Check the engine oil once per shift and replenish it promptly if there is a shortage of oil. Check the gear oil and grease of the main transmission box, distribution box and transmission part once and a half times. Properly add or replace gear oil and grease. Disassemble the bottom bearing of the spiral shaft after 500 hours of operation (disassemble the new machine after 100 hours of operation). If damage is found during disassembly, replace it. The lubrication of bearings should be strictly checked. Maintain the equipment according to the maintenance procedure of the boiling dryer.
3. Check if the components of the boiling dryer are intact and disinfect them according to the boiling dryer disinfection procedure. Equipment, hands, feet, and objects should not be inserted into the cone to prevent accidents from occurring. When sampling, it is necessary to stop. If foreign objects are found to enter the machine, it should be stopped in a timely manner, unloaded, and restarted.
4. Check whether the air compressor of the dryer is lubricated and whether there is cooling water in the storage tank. If there is, it will be exhausted.
5. Install components such as the package, turn on the power, check if the automatic and manual switches are flexible, and set relevant data.
6. Prepare wet particles in a timely manner, promote the boiling dryer, open the laboratory boiling dryer for drying, strictly control the daily amount of dry and wet particles to not exceed 100 kilograms, and control the drying temperature and time.
